The Woodlands Club, a Maine nonprofit corporation (the “Club” or “We”) has established this privacy policy (this “Policy”) in recognition of our responsibility to protect the security and privacy of the personal information we obtain from our website visitors.  This Policy describes the type of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit our website or mobile application (the “Sites”) and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
 
Please read this Policy carefully to understand our practices regarding your information. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Sites. By accessing or using our Sites, you are consenting to the terms of this Policy.

When you visit the Sites, we may collect information by which you may be personally identified, such as your name, postal address, email address, and telephone number (“personal information”).  We collect this information directly from you when you provide it to us and automatically as you navigate through the Sites. Though we aim to safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure, please note that no data transmission can be guaranteed to be 100% safe.  Should there ever be a security breach regarding your personal information, we intend to comply with any and all applicable state and federal law requirements regarding the notification and disclosure to you and to any appropriate authorities.
 
Children’s Privacy
 
Our Sites are not aimed or targeted to attract children under 16 years of age and our objective is not to collect personal information from children under 16 years of age. No one under the age of 16 may provide any personal information on our Sites. No one under the age of 16 should use our Sites unless supervised by an adult. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.  If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you are a parent or guardian and think that we have unauthorized information about your child who is younger than 16, please contact us.

In general, the only information that would be shared would be approved by you and with your established trusted advisors. If you reside in California, you have the right to ask whether we have shared personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make a request, please contact us. Please indicate in your email or letter that you are a California resident making a "California Shine the Light" inquiry.
If you are a California resident and would like to make a request under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the California Privacy Rights Act, please contact us.  Please include “California” in your email subject line and include the following information in your email: your name, California resident address, and email address.
 
Nevada Residents
 
If you are a Nevada resident and would like to make a request under Chapter 603A of the Nevada Revised Statues, please contact us. Please include "Nevada" in your email subject line and include the following information in your email: your name, Nevada resident address, and email address.
 
Canada Residents
 
If you are a Canadian resident and you would like to take advantage of any additional rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) not expressly covered by this Policy, please contact us.
